While deploying and operating midPoint, we kept encountering the same problem. Its technical capabilities were extensive, but everyday use was too complex for managers and HR teams. Many tasks required help from IT or an IGA specialist. Even a simple access change could mean another ticket, more back-and-forth with IT and time lost. Other IGA solutions face this challenge too. Technical complexity and the need for specialist administration are challenges across identity and access management. midPoint is an established open source platform with extensive options for integration, automation and customisation. Access to its source code and the flexibility to adapt it make it a good fit for organisations that need close control over their infrastructure. Those technical capabilities still need to be presented in a way that people can understand and use. ### That is why we built easyIGA. We turned our experience of deploying and operating midPoint into software that makes complex access-management processes clear and manageable. Employees can request access, and managers can decide on requests and review existing access without understanding the technical workings of IGA.
